Shillong, December 07: The leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Meghalaya have expressed that they will speak with the Union Ministers to conduct recruitment examinations for Central Government jobs in the State in the State itself.
The statement of the leaders of the BJP comes after meeting with the administrators of North East Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) today the 7th of December, after this hospital of the Central Government int need to hold the interviews for nurses’ recruitment in Guwahati, which has been stopped now and instructed for it to be held in the State itself.
The Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Wallambok Khongwir said that the BJP urged the administrators of NEIGRIHMS and companies who undertake recruitment consultancy for the youths of the State to ensure that interviews are held here itself.
He said that in their visit to Delhi they will talk with the Union Ministers to urge them that if they conduct recruitment examinations in Central Government offices which are located in Meghalaya, they must be conducted in the State itself.
The leader of the BJP who is also an MLA and Minister of the BJP, Sanbor Shullai said that he has demanded henceforth all recruitment examinations and interviews should be held in the State itself because many oppose especially with regard to expenses and security of the job seeking youths. He said that the State Government will also ensure provision of all recruitment examinations.
