Shillong: The National People’s Party (NPP) marked its 12th anniversary on September 2nd with a grand celebration at the U Soso Tham Auditorium in Shillong. The event was attended by key party leaders, including NPP President Conrad K Sangma, who led the celebrations.
Kitborlang Nongrem, President of the National People’s Youth Front (NPYF), highlighted the significance of the day, noting that it coincides with the birth anniversary of the party’s founder, the late Purno A Sangma. He described PA Sangma as a guiding light for the youth in politics and praised his contributions to the party and the nation.
The event was a reflection of NPP’s journey over the past 12 years, celebrating its achievements and the vision set by PA Sangma. Leaders and members of the party from various regions gathered to honor the legacy of the late leader and to reaffirm their commitment to his ideals.
