Shillong: Rngaiñ- a landslide prone-area, was hit but a fresh major landslide on the morning of Tuesday at around 5:00-5:30 am because of heavy rains – leading to disrupting vehicular movement along the Shillong -Pynursla road.
In recent days, another landslide hit the area which poses threat to the commuters. However, the authorities are trying its level best to clear the debris so it won’t affect the vehicular-movement in the Shillong-Pynursla road.
It maybe mentioned, on April 15 this year, Two people died in a landslide at Rngaiñ in Pynursla on Friday. The two were crushed under huge boulders triggered by a landslide at Rngaiñ area.
