SHILLONG , November 09: Members of the Hynñiewtrep Youth Council who held a protest today by carrying placards and putting up banners at Rambrai while the Chief Minister inaugurated C&RD Block, were stopped with their placards getting snatched resulting also in a squabble with the police.
As per the message sent by the HYC, it was informed that in the squabble a few members of the HYC were also injured and the organisation from its end strongly condemns the action of the police and the Government led by the NPP.
The protest of the HYC members was to have their demands heard of which one part is the fight for the Save Hynñiewtrep Mission which had been announced to remind
at every meeting which the Chief Minister attends, their 9 points of demand.
