Shillong, September 26: Former Chief Minister who is the leader of the Opposition now, Dr.Mukul Sangma on Saturday, the 24th of September inspected the construction of the 100 beds Hospital in Mawkyrwat after which he expressed concern that the Government has yet to make the Hospital functional which has been sanctioned from 2011.
On this day Dr. Mukul also inspected the Mawkyrwat CHC and also met with patients and workers of the Mawkyrwat CHC, in his inspection he found that the healthcare facility is infact very congested.
The former Chief Minister put forward a question to the Government on why the hospital has yet to function or why the healthcare facility in Mawkyrwat has not been inaugurated as yet for the benefit of the people of the region.
