Mawkyrwat, July 09: The Hills State People Democratic Party (HSPDP), Mawkyrwat Circle held a public meeting today at the Nativity School ground in Mawkyrwat to welcome Medalsing Lyngdoh and others from different political parties along with the supporters of Medalsing Lyngdoh in which thousands were seen flocking to the meeting today.
On the same day, K.P Pangniang, President of the HSPDP also confirmed the new office bearers of the HSPDP, Mawkyrwat Circle in part to further strengthen the HSPDP in Mawkyrwat constituency for the preparation of the upcoming Assembly Election in 2023.
On this day were present the President of the HSPDP, K.P Pangniang,Waiting Mawsor,Chief Organising Secretary,Hadrian Lyngdoh,former MDC of Mawkyrwat constituency who is from the PDF, Badaeity Lyngdoh, niece of (L) Hopingstone Lyngdoh ,Nolip Lyngdoh, President of the HSPDP, Mawkyrwat Circle, Medalsing Lyngdoh and other senior members and supporters of the HSPDP.
On this day the programme was also filled with songs of youths from the area and dance performances followed by the patriotic khasi, “Ri Khasi,Ri Khasi”.
