Nongpoh, July 09: Mayralborn Syiem, MLA of Nongpoh constituency today in a press conference expressed his desire to bring developmental works in the interstate border areas between Assam and Meghalaya, he also said that as a representative he had tried to bring many developmental works in different villages through the small SRWP scheme which MLAs are entitled to. However through the Inter State Border Area Development Program which the State Government has, we can bring many more developmental works in the villages in the interstate border area between Meghalaya and Assam.
Furthermore, he said that from his side as a representative he would send letters from time to time on how to increase the fund allocation in connection with the Inter State Border Area Development Program which is one of the developmental schemes brought in the interstate border areas of Meghalaya and Assam. He also said that from time to time he debates in the Legislative Assembly with regards to the matter on how to increase the fund allocation with regard to the developmental schemes in the interstate border areas.
Today the 9th of July, Mayralborn Syiem through a press conference has put forward an appeal to the State Government to take due concern on this matter and increase rate fund allocation of the Inter State Border Area Development Program so that it will be of benefit to many villages which fall in the borders of our State.
