Nongpoh, June 16: One petrol loaded truck bearing registration number ML05 Q 0280 rammed into another stationary clinker loaded truck bearing registration number ML11 A 1404 at NH-6.
This accident occurred at highway of Nongpoh which falls under NH-6 at 9:15 PM. The clinker loaded truck was parked at the side of the road as the driver was out buying something and had put the parked signal on, but suddenly the petrol loaded truck which was being driven at a very high speed rammed into the parked truck resulting in the petrol loaded truck being majorly damaged and the driver severely injured.
In the accident, the front portion of the petrol loaded truck were majorly destroyed and through the help of people in the nearby area, the driver was successfully freed from the truck and taken in an Ambulance to Civil Hospital, Nongpoh for treatment.
