The workers of the Toll Plaza in Pahamawleiñ Ri-Bhoi, including men and women tonight stopped work briefly as they could no longer bear the highhandedness of the Manager of the Toll Plaza in Pahamawleiñ whose name is Gagiur Rahman and also demanded that he should be promptly removed as Manager for since he took over, much faults have arisen in the process of the Toll Plaza apart from the workers who are left disgruntled.
Speaking with media persons,the workers of the Toll Plaza expressed that as workers they can no longer bear the highhandedness of the Manager of the said Toll Plaza who has alleged the workers of stealing, apart from never granting leave when leave permission is sought and also dismiss them if they are late by a few minutes to work, and sometimes those with children and who stay close to the Toll Plaza would come out from their work to go see their children at home, but as a Manager without any compassion would decide to mark them absent for the whole day which as workers they can no longer accept the high handed actions of the Manager.
