SHILLONG, June 03: The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) is all set to present a charge sheet against the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) Government which will also be distributed to the people.
Vincent H.Pala who is also the President of the MPCC said that as it is at present everyone is against the Gaming Act, but the MDA Government has moved forward with its implementation, apart from that, corruption through the placements of illegal toll gates at the highways runned by the Government and the District Council have greatly affected the people.
The leader of the Congress said that with regards to the economy of the State, the present Government cannot pay the salaries of teachers, health workers and others, and this has happened due to the lack of revenue as a result of rampant corruption, and instead of Government getting the revenue, the funds are directed instead to individual pockets.
