In part to better serve the public, the Hynniewtrep National Youth Movement (HNYM) today got a chance to further expand an operating branch of the organisation while also establishing the HNYM Mawphansien Unit, a village which falls under the Hima of Rambrai-Myrïaw Syiemship.
In the establishment of the new branch of the organisation, the members of the new branch were affirmed by Pyrkhatlang Nongphlang, Vice President of the HNYM, Central Body, in the presence also of Samuel Thabah, Finance Secretary of the HNYM, Central Body and Louis Dohtdong, President of the HNYM, Central Body who urged and adviced the members by saying that they should not take advantage when working as a civil society organisations and not be boastful and proud but to always be courteous.
The meeting was also attended by Phangstar Nongsiej, Sordar of Mawphansien and also the public residents of the village including also the women and mothers.
The office bearers of the new branch of HNYM include Khostingwell Nongsiej as President, Shainam Wanñiang as General Secretary, Oresparlin Nongsiej as Finance Secretary and others.
The meeting was conducted by Tailan Star Lyngkhoi, President of the HNYM, WKHD.
