The biggest game for the youths of the State, the Meghalaya Games which was revived in 2019, will be held again from the 3rd to the 6th of May.
In the games this time, there are 19 games in total and the reasons for promoting these games is on the basis that with each passing day, a demand has been heard on the need to provide avenues for the youths with talents and expertise in other types of games.
Speaking with media persons, the Minister incharge of the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Banteidor Lyngdoh said that the youths who will be participating in the games are more thah 3,000 in number and the games will be held in collaboration with Meghalaya State Olympic Association.
The Working President of MSOA,John F. Kharshiing extended his gratitude to the State Government for being ready to help fund the expenses for the Meghalaya Games to be held.
