Yesterday the public commuters of Jirang area, Patharkhmah onward were stuck again for hours on the road due to the indifference of trucks illegally transporting timber to Assam.
With regards to this, the local public of the area who were left stranded along the long road could not help but be furious especially at the trucks transporting timber as the selfish movements of the trucks affected the commute of the majority of the public.
Even after the public had prohibited their movement, it was alleged that these trucks did not pay any heed to their call which has now greatly affected the commute, and more so for the sick patients in urgent requirement of medical help who are delayed in reaching the healthcare facility as a result of being stuck for hours on the road.
