Shillong, August 30: The spokesperson of the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance government who is also a minister of the state government, James PK Sangma said that the government lead by NPP welcomes any criticism by the opposition parties that shows the government’s weaknesses if it benefits the state. James said this after he was asked regarding the criticism by Vincent H Pala, MP of Shillong and the new president of the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee.
When asked further regarding the criticism by Pala towards the government and the Home Dept, the NPP MLA who has been a Home minister as well said that it is not an easy task to handle the home dept. because it is a complicated dept and that it changes from time to time.
