She also stated that she is here to represent Meghalaya, and she will be vocal and hardworking since she understands the state’s needs.

She went on to say that the NPP party won’t segregate the state or the tribe, for Meghalaya is because of the leadership of these three tribes, for they have come together to earn the state through the Hills State Movement.

‘Since then, no leaders have ever differentiated these three tribes, the Khasi, the Garo, and the Jaintia, and as leaders of the state presently, we will not let this happen,’ she stated.

She urged the people to not differentiate amongst themselves in this world of politics because the central government has eyes set on our state.

Lyngdoh concluded by saying that he NPP party came from the NCP, which is a foreign party, but the NPP has been molded by the people of Meghalaya.

‘NPP is a selfless party, so I urged one and all to join us to take the state forward and to resolve the issue of our community as a whole. With young and energetic leaders, the party is in safe hands, and we are committed to working for the development of the state as representatives or party dignitaries,’ she stated.
