Shillong: The President of Shillong City Congress Committee, Process T.Sawkmie expressed that even if the party has now become a minority in the Legislative Assembly of the state, yet as MLAs they will continue to pursue the issues which are at the forefront for the community such as the demand for the implementation of the Inner Line Permit, the necessity to have the decision of the Central Government to implement CAA repealed and also the matter relating to the killing of the former HNLC leader, Cheristerfield Thangkhiew.
Speaking at a press conference, Process T.Sawkmie, President of the Shillong City Congress Committee expressed that with regard to the CAA especially, the Central Government has not been able to implement it in any part of the country
