Shillong: The Laitumkhrah police on Monday morning arrested the second accused allegedly involved in the Malki rape case who has been absconding since Saturday.
As per source, the accused identified as Kitbok Reuben Mawthoh was arrested from Smit at around 2:00 AM on Monday morning.
It may be mentioned that on Saturday, the Laitumkhrah Police apprehended one of the accused, identified as 19-year-old Andy Malngiang, and he has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
