Hundreds of youths who appeared for the examination held for police force recruitment under the MLP from 2019 today collectively gathered in front of the Civil Hospital,Shillong to express to the Government their problems after having waited from that year for the results but as yet till now no response is received at all.
Speaking with one man, he informed that the delay in announcing their result put them in much problems because from 2019 their age has been going up and some of them are already facing anxiety because they have already crossed the age limit to apply for jobs.
During this agitation of theirs, they also met with Lahkmen Rymbui, however their meeting with him bore no results at all which made the others present in the meeting more agitated.
On seeing this, these youths intended to move to the Secretariat but the security personnel pacified them and it was only after the higher authorities arrived that they managed to calmly speak with them and pacified the youths.
