Rayonald Kharkamni, Vice President of the Meghalaya Cricket Association (MCA) and President of the Ribhoi District Cricket Association (RBDCA), has been appointed as the Match Observer for the upcoming Third Test match between India and New Zealand, starting on November 1, 2024, in Mumbai.
Kharkamni has been instrumental in promoting cricket in Ribhoi District and Meghalaya, contributing to the development of the sport for several years. As a Match Observer, his responsibilities will include preparing reports on the playing field, umpires, players, and other related aspects of the match.
He is scheduled to travel to Mumbai on October 30 and will remain there until November 8 for the assignment.
The India-New Zealand Test series will begin with the first Test in Bengaluru on October 16, followed by the second Test in Pune on October 24, and concluding with the third Test in Mumbai on November 1.
