Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the arrival of a new member at his official residence, 7 Kalyan Marg, a calf named ‘Deepjyothi.’ Sharing a video on his official X handle, Modi revealed the calf’s unique feature: a symbol resembling light on its forehead, which inspired its name ‘Deepjyothi.’
In the video, the Prime Minister is seen performing a traditional tilak ceremony for the calf. He quoted scriptures saying, “Gaav: Sarvasukha Prada,” highlighting the importance of cows in Indian culture and tradition.
This isn’t the first time Modi has showcased his affinity for cattle. Previously, he shared images of cows at his residence and called for their protection and preservation. The cattle at his residence are of the Punganur breed, originating from Andhra Pradesh and recognized as the world’s smallest breed of humped cattle.
