Shillong: In a startling discovery, the East Khasi Hills Police recovered a cache of weapons, including machine guns, from several abandoned luxury vehicles, among them an Audi, parked near the SP Office in Shillong.
According to police, the seizure was made during an inspection of unclaimed vehicles, which revealed sophisticated firearms and magazines concealed inside.
