Shillong: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday evening visited the office of the Directorate of Mineral Resources (DMR) at Risa Colony, Shillong, following a petrol bomb attack by unidentified miscreants earlier in the day.
The Chief Minister visited the office to take stock of the situation and met the Director of Mineral Resources.
The incident occurred around 3 PM when unidentified persons hurled petrol bombs at the DMR office. No injuries were reported, although a privately owned vehicle was damaged in the attack.
The DMR office has filed an FIR in connection with the incident, while a separate complaint was also lodged by the vehicle’s driver.
