Shillong: The leaders Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) on Sunday visits the VPP chief, Ardent M Basaiamoit who is currently on indefinite hunger strike protest at the parking lot of the Additional Secretariat, Shillong.
KSU president, Lambokstarwell Marngar on his visit has urged the State government to call for talks with the VPP chief on their demands to revive the reservation policy, else it will ignite into a worse situation.
With the visit, the KSU are backing the VPP demand in reviewing the policy, which is also one of the demands of the KSU from previous years.
