Shillong: The Minister incharge of Sports, Shakliar Warjri expressed his vision in improving sports infrastructures and facilities for the youths and sports enthusiasts in the state.
Stating that many youths are very much into sports especially football, Warjri said that the main objective is to provide better facilities and also to be able to host games in Meghalaya where all youths can participate and showcase their talent.
It maybe mentioned that Warjri is a first time MLA and also one of the youngest MLA in the Cabinet.
He also mentioned that the youth policy is still under examination and that nothing is final as yet. “We are still working on it and once examination is done will put it up in the public domain,” mentioned Warjri.
