Shillong: The United Democratic Party (UDP) candidate from Sohiong Constituency, Synshar Kupar Roy Lyngdoh Thabah said he is the replacement and a continuation of Late HDR Lyngdoh work and Legacy.
Synshar while speaking to reporters after filing his nomination papers said that the people of Sohiong are praying everyday for a “lawmaker” but not merely “legislators”.
“The people of Sohiong are praying everyday and wants to produce a lawmaker but not just a legislator. A legislator who will speak in the Assembly, a legislator who will voice out the people’s pain and grief”, said Synshar.
He added by stating that Sohiong need an intellectual representative who can speak and debate for betterment and future of the people of Sohiong and for the State as a whole.
