Shillong: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) president Lambokstarwell Marngar on Tuesday said that if the implementation is in place for the ‘roster system’ in job reservation policy should be in prospectively rather than retrospectively.
Even though, the issue is very “sensitive” the KSU have been vocal about it since 2001-2002, said Marngar.
Being a sensitive subject, the KSU are in constant dialogues with intellects and experts to come up with a solution that benefiting the public at large, added Marngar.
He further added that as what it seems, the state government are uncertain with the implementation of roster system in job reservation policy. However, the KSU president reiterate the need to implement the system prospectively rather than retrospectively as it will benefit the unemployed youths of Khasi-Jaiñtia.
