BJP will put a request to Himanta while demanding Rymbui to step down over Mukroh incident

SHILLONG: The National General Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rituraj Sharma has demanded the Home Minister of Meghalaya, Lahkmen Rymbui to step down from his office if he feels any shame over the incident that occured in Mukroh.

At the same time the leader of the BJP has requested the Assam Government led by Himanta Biswa Sarma of the BJP to take action against those involved as per the findings of the Judicial Inquiry. He also alleged that the inefficiency of the Meghalaya Police led to the loss of human lives.

The BJP leader visited Mukroh on the 27th of November accompanied by leaders of the BJP in Meghalaya including A.L Hek, Sanbor Shullai and Ernest Mawrie apart from the local MLA, Nujorki Sungoh.

In this visit to Mukroh, the BJP leader also extended help to the families who were struck with misfortune on the 22nd of this month.
