Before he passed away, R.G Lyngdoh was concerned about the State and continued to give suggestions to the Government

SHILLONG, July 28: In a matter of minutes after the news, of the former MLA and Minister of Meghalaya, Robert Garnett Lyngdoh went around, condolences poured in from everywhere, and the Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Prestone Tynsong also promptly sent his condolence message to the bereaved family in Nongrim Hills, Shillong.

Prestone Tynsong in his message said that it is a great loss to the State because R.G Lyngdoh was a man who served the people honestly as a leader. Tynsong informed that on the 18th of this month when the Chief Minister and he visited Robert, as a leader he still  concern and worry for the State and with a smiling face also gave many suggestions to the Government on many matters.

Prestone Tynsong also said that it is rare to find some one like R.G Lyngdoh because he was a straightforward person with a clear mind on doing what was right without any fear or doubt. He further stated that R.G.Lyngdoh was a man known and recognised by all and this loss is not only a loss for Meghalaya but for the North-Eastern region and the whole of India.
