SHILLONG : The police of West Garo Hills District raided Rimpu Bagan again today the 28th of July and in this raid of the farmhouse a small door was found, and after the door was broken open explosive substances and other items were found from the property belonging to Bernard N.Marak.
The police found 35 gelatin sticks, 100 detonators, 4 bows and 15 arrows which the police seized and took into custody in the presence of witnesses from amongst civilians. With these explosives being seized by the police, Bernard Marak has been booked under the Explosives Substances Act,1908.
The team of the District Child Protection Unit and the police of West Garo Hills District raided Rimpu Bagan, Edenbari again today to take the clothes and documents of the minors who were rescued from this place.
As per the statement from the Superintendent of Police, West Garo Hills District, it is informed that as per the medical report, one boy from amongst the rescued minors was found to have been sexually assaulted and based on this report, a new FIR has been filed against Bernard Marak under the POCSO Act.
