SHILLONG, June 28: The Governor of Meghalaya,Satya Pal Malik said that in Meghalaya corruption is not as rampant as compared to other States where he had served as Governor. This was stated by the Governor while speaking with media persons in Shillong.
On being queried today, Governor Satya Pal Malik with an amused smirk said that he was sent to Meghalaya after he had spoken up about corruption in 4 States where he had been appointed as Governor, and added that if he were to say more at the given platform now he has no idea where he will be sent next because his tenure is about to end and he does not want any misunderstandings and grudges.
