SHILLONG, June 20: The Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Prestone Tynsong said that dark tinted glasses on the vehicles of the MLAs is for their safety and it is a good to have dark tinted glasses.
On being queried, Tynsong denied that there had been any form of misuse of the vehicles with dark tinted glasses by people of the MLAs, while stating that vehicles with dark tinted glasses have been given permission and accordingly the kind of people permitted to use dark tinted glasses on their vehicles are a selected few with permission with proper documents have been granted the Home Department of the State.
