Shillong: In one dangerous incident which occurred earlier today in Nongthymmai,one Home Guard personnel tasked with managing the traffic in this area was forcefully shoved by one pick-up truck which intended to move ahead with the personnel standing in front of the truck even as the personnel tried to stop it as a result of.the pick up truck driver breaking the law.
In this incident, the driver and the handyman of the pick-up truck resisted and challenged the Home Guard personnel, and not only that but drove his car forward for a short distance while the personnel was standing in front of the truck trying to stop the truck.
In connection to this matter, today the police arrested the two miscreants who put the life of the Home Guard personnel in danger and the names of these two are Augustine Marboh who is the handyman and Johny R.Marboh who is the driver of the truck, and the pick-up truck bearing registration number ML05 T 8200 was also confiscated by the police along with the driver and handyman with a case being registered at the Madanrting Police Station.
