Jowai : The 15th Inter-School Badminton Tournament 2022 organised by the West Jaiñtia District Badminton Association (WJDBA), Jowai began today at Chutwakhu Indoor Sports Hall with 16 schools from across West Jaiñtia Hills District participating.
The participating schools include Public School, Government Boys, KJP, H.K.Singh, Tome Memorial SS, Khimmusiang, Shangpung, Lummurut,Little Flower, St.Michel SS, North Liberty HSS among others.
In this Badminton Tournament, the competition has been categorically divided for boys and girls as Under-13, Under-14, and Under-17. Prior to the start of the game, a brief gathering conducted by Teddy Laloo, Chairman of the Tournament was held in which were also present the members of the WJDBA including the General Secretary, Jame Pohsngap, M.Nongpluh,Mebanker Shullai, teachers of the different schools among others.
