Following the unfruitful meeting between the FASToM members and senior officials of the Government, from their end, FASToM announced at Malki Ground that they shall boycott all classes, correction of examination papers and other duties which the Government has alloted to them as teachers.
Speaking after the meeting, it was informed that in the meeting which was held in Garo Hills, it was decided that FASToM will continue with the indefinite non- cooperation movement if the Government cannot actualise their demands after the peace rally which began this morning.
It was only after the peace rally bore no fruits that FASToM took the step of immediately boycotting classes for the Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary, Private Schools and schools of individuals as well.
