SHILLONG, March 24: The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Kongkal Sangma said that the matter of the peace talk with the Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) is a complicated matter, and the State Government every time it gets a chance will try to initiate a discussion with the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah.
He said that the matter relating to the HNLC requires a process of talks and discussions, and it is difficult to state everything that has been discussed in every meeting as it requires many discussions and many meetings as well.
On the 29th of this month, Amit Shah has called the two Chief Ministers for a meeting with the permanent settlement of the border on the agenda, and Sangma said that if he gets a chance, he will also initiate a talk also on the matter relating to the wish of the HNLC for a peace talk, however, he said that it can not be expected to arrange or complete everything only in one meeting next week.
