Today morning at around 10.00 AM, a tree suddenly fell on top of a tourist taxi bearing registration no.AS01 LC 7730 at Umroi, Shillong just before reaching the flyover bridge, but fortunately, no one was injured since the driver was alone in the vehicle.
With the fast response of the police and the help of the public, the tree has been removed from the area and the car has been towed away to avoid any traffic congestion.
