Shillong: The prisoners in Shillong District Jail, got a chance to be trained or taught on how to know better about different kinds of sports.
This training programme was held on Monday the 21st of March, in which 75 prisoners who are kept in this prison will be self-trained in sports such as carrom board and volleyball.
The programme was held through the contribution of the Indian Oil, ” Parivartan-Prison to Pride” in collaboration with the State Prison Department.
The programme was inaugurated by the IG(Prisons), M.Kharkrang and G.Ramesh, Indian Oil Executive Director.
