HEADLINES

The farmers from Rangphlang and Rangslang expressed their happiness at the reopening of the ropeway used for transporting their crops after it had been shut down for 3 months, and stated that only people who have had to walk to Rangphlang can understand the problem of farmers in transporting their produce.

Following the reopening of this ropeway, the farmers especially thanked the Minister incharge of the Department of Agriculture who is also their local MLA, Banteidor Lyngdoh for listening to their pleas through the leaders of the HFU, Central body in facilitating the reopening of the ropeway which had been shut down.
