Mawkyrwat, March 04: The People’s Democratic Front (PDF), SWKHD renewed the office bearers of the unit in a function held at the St.Vanny Auditorium Nativity Hall, Mawkyrwat.
On this confirmation day of office bearers of the PDF party were also present leaders of the party from the Central Body,(CEC), Shillong, James Ban Basaïawmoit, Dipshon Ryntathiang, Eleazer Chyne, Auspicious Lyngdoh amongst other senior members and prominent leaders of the PDF party in SWKHD.
In this renewal of office bearers of the party for the District Committee of SWKHD, the new office members include Kyntiewborlang Nongsiej as President, Kordor Lyngdoh as General Secretary amongst others.
The new office bearers of the Zonal Committee of Mawkyrwat constituency include Kordor Lyngdoh as President, Phaibor Lyngdoh Paliar as General Secretary amongst other office members who took their oath today as full-fledged members of the PDF party.
In the speeches delivered by the leaders of the party from the Central body, the ideology and work policies of the party was elaborated in which the aim is to stand up and fight to preserve the tradition of the Khasis in many aspects, to uplift agriculture, to create employment avenues and many more.
As a party, the PDF will henceforth try to further strengthen the party under Banteidor Lyngdoh, who is also the Minister incharge of the department of Agriculture in the Meghalaya Government.
