Shillong: Micheal L.Kharsyntiew has once again come forward to extend a charitable hand today by going to different schools, St.Dominic Savio Higher Secondary School, Christian Academy, Synjuk Wahingdoh and Synod HSS and donating packets of Covid-19 protective materials to these schools to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
The donation packets contributed to the schools by Micheal Kharsyntiew include digital thermometers, disinfectant spray pumps, chlorine disinfectants solution, 3 ply masks, sanitizers, bio-clean solution-herbal, face shields, cloth masks.
All these donations were made one day before the school reopens again for students of this school. These materials were received heartily by the Principals of the different schools.
In his short speech, Kharsyntiew expressed that this donation was not made especially to one school but to all the schools in the neighbouring localities of Mawkhar with the hope that this contribution will help the students who come to school to complete their education and that these materials may serve as preventive measures to curb the spread of Covid-19, given with much affection and best wishes so the school can move forward in imparting education to the students.
