It has been 6 days since Russia invaded Ukraine and the scarcity of food is starting to affect not only the Ukrainian locals but also the students studying in Ukraine especially in the eastern parts of Ukraine.
T7 News spoke with one student pursuing a medical degree in Sumy State University, East Ukraine and in the videos that he has sent to T7 News, he has requested the Government to hasten the process of evacuating them from the war torn country. He also said that the supply of food is starting to deplete due to the war. Besides the scarcity of food, they also have to shift to bomb shelters and bunkers for shelter which as he expressed has greatly affected their sleep and peace of mind.
