Shillong: Dr.W.R Kharlukhi,the Meghalaya MP in the Rajya Sabha and also State President of the National People’s Party said that the ship of the All India Trinamool Congress, even without setting sail to test the waters yet, has instead already begun to sink.
Furthermore, Dr.Kharlukhi said that if the ship’s crew cannot be contained in one place, then how can it cover the widening gaps of the ship which is starting to take down the ship very much like the Titanic ship which sank deep into the ocean after hitting an iceberg on its onward journey.
Dr.Kharlukhi suggested to the leaders of the AITC in the state to currently take note and contain it’s own crew first for they should clearly see what can be achieved in their onward journey, and the reason for that is because most have entered through the back entrance.
With regards to the recent joining of an AITC MDC and others with the NPP, Dr.Kharlukhi expressed that the MDC’s coming forward to join the party is because as public representatives, they could not see a bright future for the AITC, and in this juncture, the MDC who joined the NPP is from a stronghold constituency of the leader of the Opposition.
