SHILLONG, February 17: The Executive Committee of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) is prepared to tabled the Budget for the year 2022-23 at the Budget Session scheduled to begin from the 8th of March,2022.
Briefing the press after the meeting of the Executive Committee, the Chief Executive Member (CEM), Titosstarwell Chyne said that the Budget to be tabled by the Council will not differ much from the past years except for a few minor changes relating to the departments in the KHADC. He said that the upcoming Budget Session of the Council will not table any new Bills except for the report of the Select Committee on the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (Khasi Inheritance of Property) Bill 2021.
