For a free and fair judgement, Meghalaya Minister of Social Welfare, Shri Kyrmen Shylla has said that the State Government is waiting for the report of the Independent Inquiry Committee to either clear or prove the allegations against him being involved in the Rice Scam of the Social Welfare Department.
The Minister of Social Welfare Department talking to mediapersons has said that the Independent Inquiry is being led by retired Justice Mool Chand Garg of Madhya Pradesh High Court appointed by the state government from the 29th of July.
Shylla also said that the Independent Inquiry is supposed to complete it’s inquiry within three months but yet the department shall await the report.
