In a dreadful incident which occured in Chasa village in Tirap District, Arunachal Pradesh on the night of the 1st of April, two innocent civilians, Sri Nokphua Wangpan and Rameang Wangsu, while still fishing, were shot by personnels of the Indian Army,12 Para Special Forces. Both have sustained severe injuries.
In the video, Major James of this regiment could be seen apologising while also clarifying that the team made a mistake in shooting the civilians without any warning.
The injured persons were taken to Dibrugarh for proper medical treatment and on this matter, further investigation is being carried on.
