SHILLONG, October 07: Former MLA of Mawphlang who is presently the Congress candidate in the upcoming by-election, Shri Kennedy Khyriem said that he is well- prepared for the election on the 30th of this month.
Kennedy Khyriem filed his nomination papers today to contest the by-election from Mawphlang constituency after the sudden demise of sitting MLA, Shri.S.K Sunn last month.
The Congress candidate said the remaining tenure of only one and a half years is a short period but yet if the will is strong much can be accomplished in the time span of a year. He further stated that he shall follow-up and finish the pending works initiated by the late MLA and he shall work towards bringing more development which shall be for the benefit of the Mawphlang electorates.
