SHILLONG, October 07: The National President of National People’s Party (NPP), Conrad K.Sangma who is also the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, has expressed his gratitude to the United Democratic Party for their decision to extend their support to NPP candidate in the by-election for Mawryngkneng. He also said that if NPP did not already have a candidate for Mawphlang, then they would have also extended their support to the UDP candidate.
He further said that it had already been expressed clearly amongst coalition partners of the MDA government that as coalition partners they shall respect and support each other in the by-election.
