The United Democratic Party (UDP) Umsning Circle has officially project Eddie G. Kharbani as its candidate for the upcoming MDC election from Umsning Constituency. The announcement was made by UDP Umsning Circle President, Shri Sunshine Makri, during a public General Council meeting held at the Auditorium Hall in Umsning today.
The gathering saw the participation of thousands of supporters, who unanimously approved Eddie G Kharbani’s candidacy, expressing strong support for his leadership and ability to represent the constituency effectively in the KHADC.
Prominent UDP leaders, including Shri Sunshine Makri, Vice President Shri Rocky Kylla, Acting Secretary Shri B. Sylliang, and other key representatives, were present at the meeting. The event also served as a platform to strengthen the party’s organizational base in Umsning ahead of the MDC elections.
In his address, Shri Sunshine Makri highlighted that Eddie G Kharbani’s name would be submitted to the UDP District and State leadership for final approval. He emphasized that Kharbani’s experience and deep roots in the constituency make him a fitting candidate to contest the election and contribute to the region’s development.
