Shillong: A group of police job aspirants on Tuesday, marched to the office of the Central Recruitment Board (CRB) seeking clarification over the delay in announcing the results of the written examination they had appeared for.
The candidates informed that after meeting with the CRB Chairman, Dalton Marak, they were satisfied with the explanation provided by the board.
According to them, the Chairman explained that the delay was due to pending work from the company responsible for evaluating the marks of candidates who appeared for the written test.
He assured that the results would likely be declared within October or by next month at the latest.
