54,000 candidates appeared for Police recruitment test; Result delay due to evaluation process: CRB Chairman

Shillong: Following the concern raised by a group of police job aspirants to the Central Recruitment Board (CRB) office on Tuesday the Chairman of the Board, Dalton Marak, informed that the results of the Meghalaya Police Recruitment 2025 written test will be declared soon.

Marak explained that while the Board had initially planned to release the results in the first week of September, the process was delayed due to technical reasons and pending work from the company responsible for evaluating the answer sheets.

He expressed hope that the results will be announced within this month to enable the next phase of the recruitment process the interview for shortlisted candidates.

The CRB Chairman further clarified that approximately 54,000 candidates appeared for the written examination, which has resulted in the lengthy evaluation process as each OMR sheet must be thoroughly verified.

Marak added that during their visit to the CRB office, the aspirants were briefed on the reasons for the delay and expressed satisfaction with the clarification provided by the Board.
